There was a thread recently about how much effort you put into your website and how you are ranking locally on the BCN insider Tips facebook page. As a case study I made a concerted effort to rank for Bexley, Kent. I was very pleased to be able to attain rank #1 on Google's organic rank for "bouncy castle hire Bexley" in 3 months for www.bouncycastlehirebexley.co.uk However, where do you go from there? I have more than just bouncy castles and I serve a greater area than just Bexley. I thought it would be interesting to start tracking a few extra towns and not just for bouncy castle hire, but also soft play hire, too. At some point I will add extra towns and other keywords, but the website is still so new and Rome wasn't built in a day. Here are the results in just two weeks, tracked using a SERP tool and the results put into a spreadsheet (incidentally, I used a free tool for this here: www.wps.com/downloads).
It's fair to say that despite my website being so young (less than 4 months old in fact), I have seen some staggering results in a highly competitive area using the link ideas in the admin portal of my BCN site; A platform designed for bouncy castle hire companies and people in the leisure industry. I'm stoked with the results! I want to make it clear though, that the results I have achieved in such a very short space of time are the result of:
Anyway, the results are clear to see and being shown honestly. I do not believe you could put in the same effort on any other platform and get the same results as quickly or efficiently. However, the real moral of the story here is that no one will out-care your competition for you; No one else will ever invest as much as you into your website. Make your effort count!
